THE LASTING LEGACY
THE HERITAGE OF DOURO VITICULTURE
A WINE PARADISE IN THE HEART OF THE DOURO
Nestled in the stunning Douro region, Quinta de Santo António de Adorigo is a historical and viticultural treasure rooted in the hills near Peso da Régua. With old vines of 38 Douro grape varieties planted in 1955, Quinta de Adorigo reflects the region’s viticultural wealth. In 2019, under the leadership of Joaquim Fernandes – a passionate enthusiast of old Port wines and the breathtaking Douro landscape – we embarked on a new chapter that blends tradition, innovation, and sustainability. The new winery, built in 2023, was a significant milestone in our history, enabling the production of high-quality wines in a more efficient manner.
At Quinta de Adorigo, we are dedicated to crafting fine table wines, both white and red, that reflect the true essence of the Douro. We preserve the legacy of Port wine and the original vineyards, employing sustainable agricultural practices and meticulous winemaking techniques to ensure the wines are authentic and representative of the region. Each bottle we produce embodies the essence of our history and the relentless pursuit of quality.
