AN AWARD-WINNING PROJECT BLENDING TRADITION AND MODERNITY IN THE DOURO REGION

Quinta de Adorigo is undertaking an ambitious agritourism project that will offer visitors a complete experience immersed in the region’s natural beauty and winemaking tradition.
Designed by Atelier Sérgio Rebelo, the project, which includes a modern winery and a high-standard hotel, won first place in the Future Projects, Leisure Led Development category at the World Architecture Festival in 2021.

The project blends seamlessly into the natural landscape, using traditional materials such as stone and wood in innovative ways. The winery, in particular, stands out for its contemporary and functional architecture allowing visitors to closely follow the entire wine production process.

The Adega da Quinta de Adorigo project exemplifies the growing commitment to agrotourism in Portugal, valuing rural heritage and providing authentic experiences for visitors. This project, in particular, stands out for its award-winning architectural qualityfor its commitment to sustainability and the promotion of Portuguese wine culture, contributing to the constant development of the Douro region.
