1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the Quinta de Adorigo website (www.quintadeadorigo.com), operated by Sociedade Agrícola da Quinta de Santo António de Adorigo, Lda., legal entity no. 506 815 323, with registered office at 5120-011 Adorigo, Tabuaço, Portugal, telephone +351 937 500 111, and email address geral@quintadeadorigo.com (hereinafter referred to as “Quinta de Adorigo”), the user declares that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these Terms and Conditions of Use.
2. Purpose
These Terms and Conditions of Use constitute an agreement between users and Quinta de Adorigo regarding access to, browsing, and use of the website, as well as the use of its online store and booking services.
By accessing and browsing the website, the user expressly and unreservedly accepts these Terms and Conditions and declares, for all legal purposes, that they have the legal capacity to enter into contracts and to assume all obligations arising therefrom. If the user does not agree with these Terms and Conditions, they are kindly requested not to use the website.
To facilitate user accessibility, Quinta de Adorigo may include hyperlinks to websites owned or operated by third parties. By using such third-party websites, the user acknowledges that Quinta de Adorigo has no control over the content of those sites and cannot assume any responsibility in relation to them. Furthermore, the user acknowledges that a hyperlink to a third-party website does not imply endorsement or approval of that website by Quinta de Adorigo.
3. Legal Drinking Age
This website is intended exclusively for persons of legal drinking age, which is 18 years or older. By accessing, browsing, and making a purchase through the website, the user declares that they are of legal age under Article 130 of the Portuguese Civil Code and in accordance with the applicable local legislation governing alcohol consumption.
4. Products and Prices
The products offered on this website are subject to availability. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue products without prior notice.
The prices and offers displayed are valid exclusively for orders placed through the online store on this website and only at the time they are viewed. Product prices may be changed at any time, but such changes will not affect orders already confirmed by Quinta de Adorigo.
Delivery costs are calculated automatically based on the shipping address and are displayed in the order summary. Therefore, at the time of purchase, the user will be fully informed of the total price in Euros (€), including all applicable taxes, duties, and shipping or postal charges.
5. Product Purchase Procedure
If you wish to purchase products available in the online store, you must click the designated button and add the desired product(s) to your cart. You should then select the “Checkout” button and complete the required form. The user must confirm the order for the product(s) added to the cart and finalise the purchase by clicking the “Place Order” button.
An order becomes definitive only once the corresponding price has been paid. Payments must be made using the accepted payment methods listed on the website. The user warrants that they are fully entitled to use the chosen means of payment.
All purchases made through the website are subject to acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order for any reason, including limitations on available quantities, inaccuracies, or errors in product descriptions or pricing.
After the order is finalised, the user will receive an email (sent to the address provided at the time of purchase) confirming the order details. The user agrees that the electronic records of the order constitute proof of the order and its date.
6. Shipping and Delivery
Products will be delivered to the address provided during the purchase process. We accept no responsibility for delays caused by third parties or by incorrect information supplied by the customer.
If, after dispatch, the customer does not receive the shipping confirmation for any reason, they must contact Quinta de Adorigo at the email address indicated below so that all available shipping information can be resent.
All products shipped by Quinta de Adorigo must be checked upon delivery. If the customer finds that the order is damaged, it must be returned immediately to the carrier, with the reason for the return duly stated on the carrier’s delivery note, and Quinta de Adorigo must be notified without delay.
Quinta de Adorigo accepts no responsibility for shipments to countries where local law does not permit the entry of alcoholic beverages. Customers are responsible for any seizure of their orders, as well as for payment of customs duties (and/or any other related taxes, costs, and expenses), where applicable. In the event of product returns, Quinta de Adorigo will refund only the amount corresponding to the products themselves. In case of doubt, the customer may contact Quinta de Adorigo before ordering.
If an order is returned by the carrier to Quinta de Adorigo due to the user’s fault (including, without limitation, an incorrect shipping address or negligence in receiving the order), it will not be resent until a new delivery instruction is confirmed and paid. 7. Booking Procedure and General Conditions
These general booking conditions form an integral part of the service agreement for booking services between the user and Quinta de Adorigo, concluded via the website or by other means.
Bookings for experiences or other activities are made through the form provided on the website. The user must correctly complete the form referred to in the preceding paragraph and is fully responsible for the choices made and the information provided, which must be complete, true, and up to date. A booking is deemed concluded upon payment and is subject to confirmation by Quinta de Adorigo.
If there is no availability for the requested date, Quinta de Adorigo will inform the user and provide alternative dates for the requested experience.
Bookings are subject to change depending on weather conditions.
Quinta de Adorigo reserves the right to cancel a booking prior to the user’s scheduled arrival, with prior notice, in accordance with the law and these Terms and Conditions, in which case the user will be reimbursed for any payment already made. Any change to a booking (such as dates) is subject to the availability of Quinta de Adorigo and may entail a price change or the cancellation of the booking. Only cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance will be accepted and refunded. In the event of cancellation by the user (or by someone on their behalf) less than 48 hours prior to the event date, or in the event of a no-show, the user expressly agrees that they are not entitled to any refund of amounts paid.
8. Returns Policy
Quinta de Adorigo recognises the right of all its customers to withdraw from contracts concluded with it, allowing the return, within 14 (fourteen) days from receipt, of purchased products, under the Portuguese legal regime for distance and off-premises contracts (Decree-Law no. 24/2014 of 14 February, as amended by Law no. 47/2014 of 28 July and Decree-Law no. 78/2018 of 15 October).
If the user exercises the right of withdrawal, Quinta de Adorigo will refund all payments received, including delivery costs—except for any additional costs resulting from the user’s choice of a different delivery method that is more expensive than the cheapest standard option offered—without undue delay and, in any event, within a maximum of 14 days from the date on which Quinta de Adorigo was informed of the decision to withdraw, or in any of the circumstances provided for in the applicable legislation. In all cases, the refund will be made using the same means of payment used by the user for the initial transaction, unless the customer opts for a different method, in which case additional costs may apply. The costs of returning the goods, in the context of exercising the right of withdrawal by the consumer, shall be borne by the consumer.
Quinta de Adorigo will make available, through the online store, the form for exercising the right of withdrawal, the use of which is optional for the consumer. If this option is used, we will promptly send, on a durable medium, an acknowledgement of receipt of the withdrawal request.
We are committed to supplying wines of high quality, and your complete satisfaction is our goal. The entire process—from wine production to distribution—is closely controlled, ensuring that all our wines are presented and consumed in excellent condition.
If the purchased product(s) do not comply with the foregoing and are therefore non-conforming with what was advertised by Quinta de Adorigo, the user shall have, within three (3) years from delivery and subject to the conditions and limitations set out in Decree-Law no. 84/2021 of 18 October, the right to have conformity restored, to a proportionate price reduction, or to termination of the contract, as applicable. 9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including texts, images, trademarks, graphics, trade names, and logos, is the property of Quinta de Adorigo or its suppliers and is protected by copyright laws. Any unauthorised use, alteration, reproduction, distribution, or other exploitation of such content is strictly prohibited. The website, as a whole and as a multimedia artistic work, is protected under applicable copyright legislation.
Under no circumstances does access to the website imply a waiver, licence, or total or partial transfer of Quinta de Adorigo’s intellectual or industrial property rights, unless expressly stated otherwise. Similarly, these Terms and Conditions do not, under any circumstances, authorise users to copy, make available to third parties, perform reverse engineering, or engage in any other activity that would allow, in whole or in part, the duplication of the website’s design or structure. Unauthorised use of the website’s content may result in legal action and corresponding liabilities.

11. Liability
If either party fails to fulfil any of its obligations, or prevents the other party from fulfilling theirs under these Terms and Conditions, it shall be liable under general legal principles, subject to the limitation set out in the following paragraph.
In all cases, Quinta de Adorigo’s liability for any damages (whether contractual or non-contractual) related to the website, the online store, or booking services is limited to cases where it acts with intent or gross negligence, in accordance with the law.
Without prejudice to legal provisions, the user acknowledges and agrees that Quinta de Adorigo makes no representations or warranties beyond
those expressly provided in these Terms and Conditions, particularly but not limited to the following:
(i) Continuity of website content.
(ii) Absence of viruses and/or other harmful components on the website or the server hosting it.
(iii) Invulnerability of the website and/or impossibility of breaching the security measures adopted.
(iv) Errors or failures in the transmission and/or reception of any data or information on the Internet.
(v) Malfunction of any receiving equipment or communication lines.
(vi) Any malfunction of the Internet network that prevents the proper functioning of the website and/or services.
(vii) Lack of usefulness or performance of the website.
(viii) Any damage caused to the user or third parties by persons breaching the terms, rules, or instructions established on the website or by violating its systems.
(ix) Any damage to the user’s software or computer equipment during use of the website, or caused by failures or disconnections in telecommunications networks resulting in suspension, cancellation, or interruption of service.
(x) Any damages in the performance of website services arising from false or incomplete information provided by the user.
(xi) Any damage arising from the user’s assessment of the integrity, accuracy, or existence of any advertisement, or of any relationship or transaction with
any advertiser whose advertising is displayed by Quinta de Adorigo.
(xii) Any damages resulting from modifications that Quinta de Adorigo may make to its services, or from the permanent or temporary cessation of the provision of services (or any of their features).
(xiii) Any damages resulting from the deletion, corruption, or storage errors of any content or other data in communications maintained or transmitted
through the use of the services.
(xiv) Any damages resulting from the direct or indirect violation of these Terms and Conditions.
By accessing, browsing, or using the website, the user undertakes not to use it for any purposes other than those intended, including illegal purposes, or those contrary to good faith and public order, and not to use the website in any manner that may cause damage, interruptions, inefficiencies, or malfunctions in functionality or in third-party systems.
Quinta de Adorigo reserves the right to suspend, modify, restrict, or permanently or temporarily interrupt access, browsing, use, hosting, and/or transfer of content or services on the website, with or without prior notice, to users who violate any provision of these Terms and Conditions, without the user being entitled to any compensation.
